My stay at Ostello La Canonica was an exceptional experience that exceeded all my expectations. The historical charm of the former rectory, dating back to the 17th century, provided a unique and authentic backdrop for my visit, allowing me to truly immerse myself in non-tourist Italy. The attention to detail in the design of the rooms, complete with comfortable beds and a small air conditioner, showcased a perfect blend of modern comfort within a historical setting.The shared kitchen was a standout feature, offering a spacious and well-equipped area where I could easily prepare meals and enjoy a sense of community with other guests. The cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable, reflecting the care and dedication of the host, Maurizio, who went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and homely atmosphere throughout my stay. His helpfulness and excellent English skills made me feel like a valued guest, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The quiet location of the hotel provided a peaceful retreat, while the convenient parking right in front of the building made exploring the surrounding area hassle-free.
